How can I help you?

Enlist a human-centered and data-driven approach to product development, to ensure you’re building the right thing, and build it right the first time.

UX LEADERSHIP

As a consultant, I have built and lead UX teams, established UX processes and design systems, developed strategic initiatives, and functioned as head of UX for multiple companies, including Windermere and Brooks Running. Of course, I also have years of in-house experience as a UX leader as well, including Getty Images, Amazon, and start ups.

UX STRATEGY & RESEARCH

I work with you to identify an experience that will align your product with your users’ needs and your business goals. Through user research, concepts, and testing, we'll develop a UX roadmap that will meet business objectives and create a product people want to use.

Examples of UX strategy deliverables:

Persona development
Competitive analysis
User experience mapping
Service blueprints
User-tested concept prototypes
Roadmap for product development

COLLABORATIVE DESIGN SESSIONS

Design-Build-Learn:
This Google-inspired design sprint is a process for answering critical business questions through design, prototyping, and testing ideas with customers.

I facilitate this design-sprint framework that allows your team to go from problem statement to a user-tested solution with a path forward in a single week. The teams I've led these sessions with have come away excited about their solutions, incredibly surprised at how quickly they were able to create a viable solution, and excited to continue the collaboration. With this focused, collaborative process, teams are essentially leap-frogging the typical process and bypassing 3 months of churn, to create solutions that not only meet business objectives but that solve real customer problems in often very innovative ways.

Product teams love the collaborative process of a quick design sprint.

Storyboards are a quick way to nail down user flows before diving into too much detail.

Hi-fidelity wireframes help stakeholders begin to see the vision more clearly and can be used for early prototype testing

IN-HOUSE RESEARCH TRAINING

I'm an experienced teacher/trainer, and I love to help teams "learn how to fish". The best way to learn is through hands-on experience, so you will get expert research results while your team learns how to identify types of research for different problems, and then plan, schedule, create, conduct, analyze, and present their user research findings. This training is highly customized to your organization's needs and your team's strengths and experience.

Your team will learn how to conduct quick user research, but more importantly, how to make sure it's effective!
